The Mitsubishi Electric FX5-16EX/ES is a compact digital input extension module for the MELSEC iQ-F FX5 series PLCs. It provides 16 digital inputs (sink/source type) and is designed for reliable signal acquisition in industrial automation systems. The module connects via screw terminal blocks and is powered by 24V DC supplied from the PLC or an external source.

Compatible with FX5U, FX5UJ, and FX5UC CPU modules (FX5UC requires an interface module), the FX5-16EX/ES supports DIN rail mounting and integrates seamlessly into modular control architectures.
