Adroit Enterprise OEE Technical Description - OEE is a metric that identifies the percentage of planned production time that a Factory, a Single Machine or a Production Line consisting of a cluster of Machines is productive. So for any given piece of machinery, Factory or group of machines, one might measure how many products were manufactured correctly the first time and compare that amount to the number the machine should have produced in a given amount of time. This led to the discovery of known and unknown problems in production by the accurate logging of all the standing times, slow running periods, machine breakdowns, material issues, etc. These standing times are enforced by interlocking the machine when standing on a fault condition till the fault is logged to ensure accurate feedback to the OEE.
